Addiction Therapy
Additional Services Provided:
Addiction is a chronic disease that affects the brain in complex ways that contribute to compulsive and uncontrollable use. It effects every areas of a person's life, as well as the lives of everyone who cares about them. It affects people mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Addiction Therapy first begins with helping an individual to become ready for change. This is an important step that cannot be understated or overlooked.
Once an individual decides to make changes, I will work with them to learn to identify symptoms and underlying causes of their disease. We will also work on becoming ready to look at the consequences and identify their options to obtain needed support.
I know that asking for help, especially for an addiction, is very difficult. We will work together, discuss your options and come up with a plan that you are willing to move forward with.
